Under tow.

You can only drive your race car on the track at Bonneville Speedway. Everywhere else, it’s being pushed or under tow. We found this out in 2012 when SCTA volunteer, 200mph club member, and fellow Kiwi, Miriam McMillan was showing a couple of us around before our first run. Before we had left the pits it had been agreed that it would be good for those not on the tour to start up the Cooper and give it a test run in a quiet spot, so there was a scrambling for cellphones to let them know that was a very bad idea…
